The Morse Moving & Storage family took some time away from our busy schedules the past week to attend Traverse City’s illustrious Cherry Festival Parade, which has been celebrated annually in the city for nearly 100 years. 

Traverse City, also known as the “Cherry Capital of the World”, celebrates this lovely festival every year as a celebration of not just the delicious fruits produced by the region, but as a celebration of the community coming together to eat, drink, and be merry.  

The amazing festival features tons of rides, attractions, and local vendors that sell wonderfully handmade items or local cuisines and specialties. There are even live concerts to top off this celebration! We loved our time at the festival, and it was good to take some time to connect with each other and members of our community.  

We had a great time at the festival and can’t wait to enjoy the region’s delicious cherries all season long – and look forward to the celebrations next year!
