At Morse Moving & Storage, our greatest asset has always been our people. This year’s Winners of the Year awards celebration was a powerful reminder of the dedication, professionalism, and excellence that define our organization across all four agencies. We’re proud to recognize the outstanding individuals who make Morse Moving & Storage an industry leader.
The evening began with what matters most to us: celebrating loyalty and longevity. In an industry where skilled professionals are invaluable, we’re fortunate to have team members who have chosen to build their careers with us year after year.
This year, we recognized 30 employees who have dedicated between 5 and 49 years of service to Morse Moving & Storage. For those reaching the 10-year milestone and beyond (in 5-year increments), we presented both monetary awards and commemorative plaques as tokens of our appreciation.
Special recognition goes to our 2025 longevity award recipients: Eileen Nadeau for 15 years of service, and Jeff Marcero and John Dettloff, each celebrating 10 years with our company. Their commitment exemplifies the culture of excellence we’ve built together.
Being selected as a winner across our entire organization is no small achievement. These awards represent excellence at the highest level, and we’re honored to celebrate this year’s recipients.
Jeff Marcero earned Salesperson of the Year, demonstrating exceptional customer service and sales performance throughout 2025. Shaw McSweeney was named Van Foreman of the Year, leading his crews with professionalism and expertise. Norma Ferry was recognized as Internal Employee of the Year for the Branch Agencies, showcasing the behind-the-scenes excellence that keeps our operations running smoothly.
Our Freight Drivers of the Year represent the backbone of our transportation services: Brian Brow from our Romulus branch and Gary Cronkhite from Traverse City both delivered outstanding performance throughout the year.
Safety is a core value here at Morse Moving & Storage. We’re incredibly proud of the 32 drivers who completed an accident-free year with clear inspections and zero citations. This achievement reflects not only individual dedication but also our organization’s commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards in the industry.
Our 2025 Top Fleet Awards recognized 14 drivers who exemplified operational excellence, including Chris Stephenson, Mark McLean, Ron Johnson, Ray Gutowski, Dave Cornett, TJ Burzynski, John Dettloff, Kiel Steger, Joey Weese, Dan Lobbestael, Ryan Marsh, Ray Vergin, Shaw McSweeney, and Dave Bakos. These professionals ensure our fleet operates at peak performance while representing Morse Moving & Storage with distinction.
Our Romulus branch concluded the year with impressive December 2025 winners. Tracey Pritchett earned the Internal WOW Winner award, while Chris Stephenson was recognized as the External WOW Winner for outstanding customer-facing service. Jennifer Marcotte received the Internal Employee of the Year recognition, and Rob Forest was named Crew Member of the Year.
As we celebrate these achievements, we’re reminded that awards and recognition are about more than individual accomplishments, but also our collective commitment to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction. Every team member at Morse Moving & Storage contributes to our success, whether they’re on the road, in the warehouse, or supporting operations behind the scenes.
To all our 2025 award winners: thank you for setting the standard and inspiring your colleagues. To our entire team: thank you for making Morse Moving & Storage a company we’re proud to represent every single day. Happy holidays!
